Flat Iron Steak
This ranch favorite is one of our go-to steaks for our family meals for good reason. The Mountain Primal Flat Iron Steak is well-marbled, naturally packed with flavor, with little or no need for marinades (but you do what you like).
Taken from the shoulder (or Chuck), the flat iron steak is also known as the top blade steak and is a great stand-alone cut for a fantastic grilling experience. Not to be mistaken for the flank steak which is also delicious, but taken from the abdominal area with a much different texture.
Our beef products are sourced direct from our ranch in Basalt, CO. Our pristine mountain climate lends itself to producing healthy, pasture-raised, American Highland Cattle, that in turn produce meat of the highest quality.
